Iran Polymer and Petrochemical Institute (IPPI), established in 1986, has embarked the full mission to carry out research and education in polymer science and technology, as well as providing outreach programs for Iran polymer industry. Continued increase in global production and consumption of polymeric and petrochemical materials in the last two decades has resulted in vast and widespread academic and industrial research activities, particularly in the field of polyolefins. To cover these advances in research and technology, in a comprehensive and systematic fashion, IPPI, has started to launch “Polyolefins Journal (POJ)” in 2014, a peer reviewed (single-blind), open access, free of publication charges and multidisciplinary publication in English. Until 2023, POJ was being published biannually, but from 2023 it has appeared quarterly.
